Chair & Immediate Past Chair

The chairperson shall serve for one year, preside at business meetings of the Division, be responsible for membership records, prepare annual reports and budget requests in such form and manner as the Legislative Council prescribes, and serve as a representative of the Division on the Legislative Council of the Association for two years–one as chairperson, and one as immediate past chairperson. (Bylaws, Article IV, Section 1)

Vice Chair

The vice-chairperson will serve a one year term, then succeed to the office of chairperson. This officer shall, in cooperation with the officers and appropriate committees, plan the Division programs for the annual NCA convention, and present such competitive awards as may be authorized by the Division. (Bylaws, Article IV, Section 3)

Vice-Chair, Elect

The vice-chairperson-elect shall serve one year, then succeed to the office of vice-chairperson. This officer shall assist the vice-chairperson with coordinating the review of papers and other program submissions, shall coordinate any membership drive, and shall also assist with other activities assigned by the Executive Committee. (Bylaws, Article IV, Section 4)

Information Officer

The information coordinator will serve a two-year term, prepare minutes of the business meetings, be responsible for the Division Newsletter, consult with the Publications Board of the NCA, write a Spectra column, and coordinate and direct the publications of the Division. (Bylaws, Article IV, Section 5)
